England national team manager, Gareth Southgate, has lately names his squad for the games in the Nations League in September. The Three Lions will be facing Iceland and Denmark in the Nations League, which will be before the Premier League starts. Four of Manchester United players have made it to the squad including Harry Maguire, whose inclusion is doubtful because of his brawl in Greece.
Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Dean Henderson and Harry Maguire are the United players to have made it to the squad. All the four players were touted to make it to the team following their good performances last season. But some of the United players have also been left out, much to the surprise of everyone.
Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka haven’t made it to the squad to the surprise of everyone. Shaw is out injured and might not be back in time, thus Southgate didn’t select him as reported, but there has been no justification on leaving out Wan Bissaka. On the other hand, Dean Henderson is set to take England’s No.1 spot as believed by many.
The Nations League will be a good exposer to the Red Devils and they might use it as a chance to nail their places in the national team.
