Agreement over Donny Van de Beek deal

It was earlier reported that Donny Van de Beek had told teammates at Ajax about him joining Manchester United this summer. The Dutch midfielder has played very well in the Eredivisie and was keen to move on from Ajax to a bigger club in Europe. It has now been reported by De Telegraaf that United and Ajax have reached an agreement over the transfer of Donny Van de Beek.

For once, the Red Devils have been swift in the transfer market, as it was only yesterday when rumours began. But in a matter of a little over 24 hours, United and Ajax have reportedly agreed on terms for Van de Beek. The transfer fee has been reportedly agreed at about €45m, including bonuses for the talented Dutchman.

Van de Beek is set to fly to Manchester next week to sign a five-year contract with the Red Devils. It has also been reported by the BBC that the Dutch international should be available for United’s opening game in the Premier League. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also tweeted about the agreement in place and has said that the Red Devils will put in a bid tonight, which has been informally accepted by Ajax.

The United fan base is delighted with United’s first signing of the summer and is eager to get the likes of Sancho soon.
