Manchester United FC have been linked to a host of midfielder since the transfer window opened about a month ago. Lately, the club has been linked with the likes of Thiago Alcantara heavily after Liverpool’s reluctance in placing a bid. It is now being reported that Solskjaer has had talks with Thiago and only wants to bring players for the right reasons.

Thiago Alcantara has entered the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich and wants to move on, with keen interest from Liverpool. Reportedly it is most likely for Thiago to join the Reds of Liverpool, but the scousers haven’t placed a bid yet. United were reportedly offered Thiago by Bayern Munich but his wage demands have been a stumbling block for United.
It has now been reported by transfer expert Jan Aage Fjortoft that Solskjaer has had a talk with Thiago to know more about his demands. United are reluctant to give ageing players bumper contracts, especially what happened with Alexis Sanchez. Solskjaer wants to know if Thiago wants to move to United for the right reasons of just for the huge pay-check.
Thiago is likely to move to Liverpool, but if United have a breakthrough of talks with Bayern and Thiago, the Spaniard might join United.
