Manchester United’s only signing this season yet, Donny Van de Beek, has reached Manchester and has even started training. The player joined the United training camp after returning from international duty for the Netherlands in the Nations League games. The Dutch international met Solskjaer for the first time as a United player, and the rest of his teammates and Carrington and has impressed everyone in a short time.
As it was reported earlier after the last Dutch game, Ajax fans gave Van de Beek a fitting farewell, one he will never forget. But now, the Dutch midfielder has trained with United and was pictured doing drills with the ball. He was also pictured while talking with club captain Harry Maguire and manager Solskjaer.
In his recent talk with BBC Solskjaer said: “I followed Donny, he scored his first goal against Molde in the Europa League in 2015. He actually headbutted my centre-back so he was very brave as well. It was at the start of the game so I liked his infectious attitude.” He also added that “But I have spoken to Edwin van der Sar and other players that know him. You just use the people you know and trust to scout the character.”
Donny Van de Beek is expected to do great things at Manchester United and Solskjaer trusts him to achieve what he has set out to become.
