As Manchester United FC enter the final week of preparations for the Premier League, the club is still linked to a lot of players. The Red Devils have signed just one player even if it was touted to be a big summer for the club. It is now being reported by the Telegraph that United are ready to walk away from signing Jadon Sancho because of his price tag.
Manchester United have been looking at Jadon Sancho for about 18 months now and had reportedly made him their priority signing this summer. But it was earlier reported that this week is going to be pivotal for Sancho’s move to United. The Red Devils haven’t made an official bid yet though they have agreed on the player’s personal terms and agent fees.
It is now being reported that the Red Devils are ready to walk away from Sancho because of the “unrealistic” fee Dortmund are demanding. The club is now looking at other alternatives to get in this summer to fill in the right-wing spot. It is highly unlikely for United to “walk away” from this deal though, as United have been aware of the price tag from the beginning.
There is still belief around people that United will get this deal over the line and if they don’t, the fans will go berserk.
