Dan James has been at the wrong end of a lot of criticism at Manchester United due to his lack of versatility. The young Welsh international is one of the quickest players in the Premier League but is very predictable as well. It is now being reported by The Sun that Leeds United are interested in signing Daniel James from Manchester United this summer.
Dan James was earlier closely linked with Leeds before moving to United, because of a last-minute change of mind by Swansea. It was a huge controversy back then, as James had his medical done and had also held up the Leeds shirt, but the move didn’t go through. But his move to United hasn’t turned out to be the best, even though he had started life at Manchester very brightly.
It is now being reported that Leeds United are back again with their interest in Dan James and want to sign him this summer. Marcelo Bielsa is reportedly a fan of James’ pace and wants the Welshman to join Leeds. James has also reportedly been promised guaranteed playing time, but United will only let him go if they sign another winger.
Manchester United could be tempted to sell James but only if they sign another winger, as they are thin on top. They will surely not sell James if they don’t buy another striker or winger before his apparent sale.
