Why hasn’t Sancho joined United yet?

Manchester United FC have signed only one player this summer, despite the fact, the other clubs have heavily invested in their squad. It has been long known that United have prioritized a move for Sancho but haven’t even placed a bid for the player yet. It is now being reported by the Manchester Evening News that the Red Devils will table a bid for Sancho only after the first of October.

Earlier it was reported about the losses every club had had to face because of the COVID-19 but almost every Premier League club has invested well into their respective squads. But Manchester United have signed only one player yet which has been the reason for massive outrage amongst the fanbase.

It has now been reported about the reason what might have stopped United to bid for Sancho even after agreeing on everything else. With the first fiscal quarter to end on 30th September, United might be delaying the Sancho bid until October. The reason behind this is that if United bid after October, they will benefit as a company that has faced severe losses this quarter and thus it will be logical to bid only in the next quarter.

There have been several theories as of add-bonuses being a major factor behind United’s hesitant pursuit of Sancho and with 11 days left in the transfer market, only time will tell if Sancho will join the Red Devils.
