Manchester United FC were reportedly looking for a right-winger from the beginning of this summer transfer window. But the club and the United board haven’t been able to sign a right-winger this summer, and have signed only one player in Van de Beek. It is now being reported by Mundo Deportivo that Paul Pogba is trying to convince Ousmane Dembele to join the Red Devils this summer.
Ousmane Dembele has been linked to Manchester United recently, but it was reported that he wasn’t keen on moving out of Barcelona. But with Sancho’s move stalled because of no discussions between Dortmund and United a move for Dembele might be around the corner. It is also believed that Barcelona doesn’t want to sell Dembele on-loan and only want a permanent move at about €50-60m.
It is now being reported that Ousmane Dembele’s French teammate and close friend Paul Pogba is trying to persuade him to join United. Pogba has reportedly been on the phone talking to Dembele, trying to convince him to join the red half of Manchester. Dembele’s signing will surely be labeled as one of the worst panic buys in the history of United, as the player is injured more often than he plays.
This signing shows no sign of being good for the club, as Manchester United should not convince a player who is least interested in joining.
