Bruno Fernandes has lit up the Premier League since his arrival at Manchester United, earlier in January this year. The midfielder has even created the most chances in the league this season but has been as influential this season as he would have liked to be. In his recent talk with talkSPORT, Steve McClaren has said that Bruno Fernandes needs to get his head up more and influence United’s game.
Manchester United have had a poor start to the season in the Premier League. The United talisman has struggled along with the rest of the team but still hasn’t stopped trying to influence the game and create goalscoring chances. Almost every time he plays for the Red Devils, Bruno gives his 100%, but still, it isn’t enough for some.
McClaren in his talk said: “I’ve been watching Bruno Fernandes and he’s disappointed. I saw it last week against Newcastle when he went out wide, and I’m seeing it again now. His body language is not good, he’s not getting involved.”
McClaren was talking about the point when Bruno Fernandes was moved to the right side of the midfield, with Paul Pogba’s arrival.
Bruno Fernandes was arguably one of the best midfielders in the Premier League last season and is one of the best-attacking midfielders in the world. Ole Gunnar Solskajaer needs to manage Pogba and Bruno well if he wants to win silverware this season.
