Paul Pogba had a great end to last season, as he seemed to have returned to his best of form. The Frenchman looked happy at United and a talk of a new contract was on the horizon, but he has had a poor start to this season. In his recent interview with France Football, France coach, Didier Deschamps has explained that Pogba is not happy at Manchester United.
It was earlier reported that Paul Pogba was disappointed with the club’s board as they extended his contract instead of offering a new one. There have also been talks of Real Madrid looking to sign their long-term target after United slashed the asking price. It is surely not a camp at Paul Pogba’s place and the French national side manager just confirmed it.
In his interview, Deschamps said: “He is in a situation at Manchester United where he cannot be satisfied with his playing time and his position. He is not in his best period. The injuries came one after another, and Covid hit him pretty hard as well. He needs to find some rhythm.”
Paul Pogba suffered from the coronavirus and missed the entirety of pre-season which hasn’t helped him get back in track. The Frenchman has shown glimpses of what he can do but hasn’t done it on a consistent basis this season yet. The Frenchman is currently out of the starting XI and needs to work hard to earn his starting spot once again.
