Jesse Lingard has had a tough few months at Manchester United as he has found game-time hard to come by. This summer, he was touted to go elsewhere but a move didn’t materialize and the Englishman hasn’t played for the Red Devils yet. It is now being reported by ESPN that Jesse Lingard has ended his relation with Mino Raiola as his agent.
Lingard suffered an injury in the recent past and hasn’t featured in the starting lineup yet for the Red Devils in the Premier League this season. He was linked to the likes of West Ham and Porto towards the end of the summer transfer window. But Mino Raiola didn’t manage to get a deal done, which meant that Lingard had to stay put at Old Trafford.
It has been reported that Lingard has ended his professional relationship with Mino Raiola, but both remain to be in good terms. He is contracted at Manchester United till next summer, but the club can trigger a one-year extension. But his future at Old Trafford looks bleak as he barely makes it to the matchday squad for Manchester United under Solskjaer.
Manchester United and Lingard should part ways as soon as possible as it will be the best option for both the parties involved in the situation.
