Dean Henderson signed a long-term contract at Manchester United which will keep him till 2025 at Old Trafford, in the summer. But the Englishman has been deprived of the first-team action with the Red Devils, as David De Gea has returned back to his best. It is now being reported by ESPN that Dean Henderson might leave on-loan in January with interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Dean Henderson hasn’t started for Manchester United yet in the Premier League and has played just once in the Champions League. Due to lack of game-time, Henderson hasn’t started for the English national team yet as well. It was earlier reported that the future of Sergio Romero hangs in the balance with Dean Henderson’s future as both the goalkeepers’ futures are uncertain.
It has been reported that Dean Henderson could leave for Wolves this January in search of consistent game-time. Manchester United are very unlikely to sell him on a permanent basis as they see him as the future of the club. He has been great for the Red Devils whenever he has played but surely needs more time on the pitch for his development and the betterment of his career.
To get the Three Lions’ No.1 spot, Dean Henderson needs more game-time which is currently impossible at Manchester United. This might just be the right decision from Henderson to develop into one of the best in the world.
