Rafael Van der Vaart blasts Solskjaer for not starting Van de Beek

Donny Van de Beek hasn’t had a great start to his career at Manchester United due to having limited time on the pitch. Though he has done well in the few games he has played in a United shirt, Van de Beek still hasn’t started in the Premier League yet. According to reports from the Metro, former Dutch international Van de Vaart has said that Van de Beek is currently stuck on the bench at United.

Donny Van de Beek has been the talk of the town at Manchester United. It was earlier reported that several pundits have expressed their frustration saying Van de Beek made a wrong decision joining United. But in his interview, Van de Beek looked calm and patient, but former Dutch international Van der Vaart has been anything but.

In his interview, Van der Vaart said: “Wait? Patience? Would you like it if you are stuck on the bench? The players in front of you can’t even kick a marble and [Solskjaer] still does not put you in the team. I would not be happy. I would certainly not be enjoying my football there.”

The Dutchman is one of the finest young midfielders in the world, and it is sure of him to get his opportunity at Manchester United. Solskjaer should be working a way out to get Van de Beek starting for the Red Devils, as the Dutchman has earned his place now.
