Fabrizio Romano says Paul Pogba will stay at United until summer

According to Fabrizio Romano, Pogba will be staying at Manchester United at least until summer which may help settle a bit of the nerves for everyone associated with the club.

Paul Pogba has recently come back to form and is enjoying a great spell but his agent Mino Raiola had made some public comments which rubbed people the wrong way and questioned Pogba’s loyalty to the club.

In conversation with Sky Sports News, Fabrizio Romano said “I think Pogba is staying. From talking to people around the player and around his agent, Mino Raiola, the feeling is that it’s really difficult for a transfer to happen in January

Fabrizio Romano is the best in the business and his word is considered almost sacred when it comes to transfer rumours or other football-related news.

The pandemic has hit everybody hard and even some of the top teams are struggling to get their finances in order. In such turbulent times acquiring a player like Pogba will come with an expensive price tag on his name.

The club has tried its best to keep Pogba happy and at the club but the future looks bleak. Pogba is on a heavy £290,000 a week package and it would be tough for any other club to keep at par with his demands especially due to such times.

Mino Raiola who is also considered a super-agent will also try all the tricks in the book and right now such high-profile transfers do not seem feasible especially with the kind of inconsistent form that Pogba has shown in recent season.

The fact that he is injury prone does not help his cause but one cannot deny that on his day he is one of the best on the pitch and can play an important part in influencing the game.
