Manchester United’s strength: Paul Pogba is regularly being reported to leave United and go on to play for Barcelona. The 25-year-old midfielder is all Barcelona would ask for in order to replace someone like Andres Iniesta in near future. The World cup winner who was bought by United for a record breaking price of £89 million has been consistently reported to leave United.
The transfer deal between Barcelona and United included a monetary as well as a barter deal, basically a player-plus-cash deal which would include swap of Paul Pogba for two players; Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina. The deal also included Barcelona to pay £45 million. Pogba who is a commercial perspective for United and has a high demand in the market, is one of the major reason for United not to sell him.
Manchester United have turned down the swap deal and it seems that the Frenchman will showcase his charismatic skills under Mourinho this season.
