Wholescale changes are evident in the Manchester United XI that would take the field shortly at Old Trafford to face off against Watford in the third round meeting of the FA Cup between the two sides.
On the back of their disappointing 2-0 loss to city rivals Manchester City earlier this week, which shaw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men crash out of the EFL Cup, the United gaffer would be hoping to see a much-improved and encouraging display from his players tonight.
Dean Henderson is back for cup duty as the former Sheffield United shot-stopper starts between the sticks for the Red Devils, with the heart of the four-man backline comprising of Eric Bailly and Alex Tunzabe,
Luke Shaw drops down to the bench to make way for summer signing Alex Telles to get some much-needed game-time for his new club and the returning face of Jesse Lingard would come as a shock to many amongst the Manchester United fanbase.
Juan Mata and Mason Greenwood are also handed rare starts by Solskjaer, with a spot in the fourth round up for grabs should the hosts come out on top against the Hornets.
These are the starting 11 for both the teams
