Solskjaer never panicked about any rumours surrounding his job

Solskjaer took over the reins from Jose Mourinho in 2018 and enjoyed a good start to his managerial career as the interim manager as the spirits around the cub were very high but things took a drastic turn.

His honeymoon period got over and there were some inconsistent performances from the team and the inexperience of a manager like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was called out by the critics.

Many other high profile names were added to the fray as people questioned whether he had the caliber to handle such a big club at a precarious time like that but Ole was never concerned about his place at the club.

“I never thought it would be easy. It is not a job where there is one way. You have challenges every single day. There are many challenges that you do not see. But working with people, and with the club that has given me so much, I thrive very, very well with that.” Solskjaer told Dagbladet TV.

Managers who have had far more experience than him came to the club after the departure of Manchester United with little to no success at all as the Reds started to crumble.

Jose Mourinho brought a bit of respite to the club as he managed to win a few titles and make them contenders but as things started to get ugly within the board and dressing room everybody knew that he wouldn’t last for very long.

Right now the Red Devils are enjoying a rich vein of form and even though they have had their hiccups in domestic competitions, they sit on top of the Premier League table.

Paul Pogba seems to be back in fine form and everyone at the club seems to be in a great mood at the moment. Hopefully, it will soon translate into silverware for the club.
