According to reports from Calciomerato Juventus is looking to secure the services of Juan Mata who was once a force to be reckoned with when he appeared in the Premier League for Chelsea.
The Spanish international has seen his game time be considerably reduced due to several additions to this Manchester United squad and Juventus has always been a perfect suitor when it comes to making transfers for free agents.
This strategy has been quite rewarding on most occasions as players like Paul Pogba, Sami Khedira, and Andrea Pirlo who is now their head coach were all acquired on free transfers.
Fabio Paratici is a proper mastermind and negotiated some amazing transfers in the past. Juventus will not be looking to spend the big bucks on any players this season because of the financial strain that almost every club has been facing this season. That will surely not stop them from going after the Spanish midfielder who seems to be out of favor and gone way down in the hierarchy of the Manchester United midfield.
Juan Mata’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of this season. He has been in the Premier League ever since his move to Chelsea from Valencia in 2011. We have seen in the past that the Spanish players like to go back to their homeland after they feel that their time in England has come to a standstill. Santi Cazorla, Jesus Navas, and even David Silva have done the same and are enjoying their time in the Spanish League.
It seems highly unlikely that Juan Mata would like to stay after the season gets over and it remains to see where he could be headed.
