Chelsea has sacked their legend turned manager Frank Lampard after Chelsea have had some dismal form in the last few games and are currently sitting 9th in the table. Thomas Tuchel is the man who is set to take over from them.
Tuchel has managed sides like Mainz and Borussia Dortmund before his stint with PSG where he coached some of the biggest names in Europe. He also coached Cavani during his time in France.
Tuchel when speaking about Cavani said, “Very polite, almost a bit shy. Hard, hard worker. He will be there in every training (session) first minute until last minute.”
He has had a great impact on the club ever since his arrivals even though many people questioned the long-term validity of his move or whether it was just a quick fix. Cavani has had a stellar impact on some of the youngsters in the dressing room and has the required experience to come out in the big games. He is an out and out striker and even the teammates sing great praises about him.
He may not be young and energetic as compared to the likes of mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford but his positioning and determination more than makeup for it.
He has scored some important goals this season with the decider against Southampton being the pick of the lot. He scored 5 goals and has given 2 assists in his 18 appearances for Manchester United. 10 of those appearances have come from the bench which shows that he can make an impact in a limited time.
His killer instinct is a great asset and can hopefully be a good thing in the long run.
