West Ham have warned United about Declan Rice swap deal

According to The Sun, West Ham will not include Declan Rice in any swap deal as United have already set their sights on the player. It was earlier reported that United wanted to make Declan Rice a part of the deal as they looked to swap him for Jesse Lingard.

Jesse Lingard has been flying for the Hammers. He has already registered 6 goals and 4 assist for West Ham United after joining them just a few months back. West Ham manager David Moyes have been aiming to buy Lingard permanently and United were poised to expose the Hammer’s vulnerability by adding Declan Rice as a part of a player swap deal.

But now West Ham is not pleased with this offer and has already warned United that they are in no mood to sell their star man. If they really want to sign their vice-captain then they have to cough up approximately £80m for the England international.

Solksjaer knows the true potential of Declan Rice as the West Ham star was even linked with a move to Chelsea. Frank Lampard wanted to sign their ex-academy player as they wanted to solve their defensive crises. Rice naturally plays as a defensive midfielder but recently David Moyes has made him play as a center-back, a position in which he has flourished more as a player. He has been quite regular in the England National team as well.

United knows that their hopes for a title next season depends upon the quality signings that they make. Solksjaer will be aiming for a perfect summer transfer window but he has now been warned that Declan will not be allowed to leave for anything less than £80 million.

This price has already left various clubs losing their interest in this player. Will United also fall in the same trap?
