Eric Bailly can get the chance to feature for United against Granada. He can be a surprise inclusion against Granada if he can return back on time.
Eric Bailly was sidelined after he was detected as positive for the coronavirus. He helped Ivory Coast to qualify for the African Cup of Nations but then suffered from this disease. He had already faced injury issues but this one was a major setback again for him and his team.
Bailly didnt returned back to England and has since been recovering. Solksjaer didnt provide any updates regarding the player’s wellness but it seems he can feature now.
He is reported to be recovered from the disease and is set to feature for United. Phil Jones and Axel Taunzebe are injured too and United seems to be short of defensive options right now. With Maguire and Lindelof fit and firing, United are lucky that they are consistent in terms of their fitness.

Bailly was the usual started for United, his pairing with Maguire was simply exceptional. They were solid enough to keep any team at bay. Lindelof has been giving in some inspiring performances as well but we still hope that Bailly returns soon to give United some solid options in their defense.
Right now, United are focused on Granada and a return for Bailly is possible if he can return on time. It will be interesting to see whether Solksjaer provides some more rest to his star player or includes him immediately in their upcoming fixtures.
Bailly will be hoping that he doesn’t get into the trap of another injury issue.
