Manchester United vs AS Roma – Man Utd Predicted Lineups | Europa League 20-21

Manchester United face AS Roma in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League and with the first leg being held at Old Trafford, United would head into the midweek clash as heavy favourites.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaher’s men most recently drew their Premier League fixture at Elland Road to Leeds United in a game that marked inefficiency on part of the Red Devils frontline.

Let us now have a look at how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might set his Manchester United XI:

4-2-3-1

One change that is heavily expected to be on the cards is David de Gea coming in for Dean Henderson who has been a regular fixture between the sticks for Manchester United of late.

Solskajer, however, would decide against making any changes to his four-man backline who have excelled in recent times and were on a similar display last time around against Leeds as well.

Fred looks certain to drop out of the XI and make way for Paul Pogba’s inclusion with the Frenchman being benched for the Leeds United fixture.

Edinson Cavani would be in line to replace Daniel James in the starting XI which would mean that Mason Greenwood would shift back to his preferred role out wide on the right flank allowing Cavani to assume the No.9 duties.
