Daniel James has clocked the second-fastest run in Euro 2020. It can be said that he is the second-fastest player in the Euros right now.
That is as per the competition’s official Twitter account, which confirmed that James has been timed running at a speed of 33.5 km/h – which is simply over 20mph.

We have all seen Daniel James performing such pacy runs for Manchester United down the left-wing. Last season, Luke Shaw had revealed that Daniel James is the fastest player in the squad right now. He is showing the same skills with the Wales team.
James was back in action for the Wales national team on Wednesday when his nation took on Turkey in an absolutely important win in a Group A encounter.
Following an immensely great performance from the United wide-man, with the help of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, had the belief to grab the crucial win.
He himself didn’t score a goal but helped his team making clever runs and creating problems for the Turkish defenders. Seen as a steady danger down Turkey’s right-hand side, James consistently ran at their backline, placing a few key balls into their box.
Most surprisingly, the young Welshman, who is most popular for his staggering speed, piled up a maximum speed for his run which sees him just behind Italy and Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola (33.8 km/h) in the list.
Wales will play against Italy which will be a tough encounter for them and it is the perfect chance for both teams to grab the top spot in Group A.
