Gary Neville on Sancho deal: I’ve never been so bored by a transfer

Jadon Sancho’s proposed transfer to Manchester United is on the verge of completion. It will surely bring an end to one of the longest transfer stories for Manchester United. Having been chasing the winger from last summer, finally, they are closest to land him.

But not everyone is pleased with this long transfer story. Gary Neville has shown his frustration with the Jadon Sancho deal naming it as too boring. The Jadon Sancho transfer, as per renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, will be completed soon, triggering the former United right-back to take his dissatisfactions to Twitter.

He said on his official Twitter account: “I’ve never been more bored by a transfer in my life to the point I feel like he’s already signed and I want to know who is next already.”

Jadon Sancho has been consistently connected with a move to Manchester United for longer than a year, with the transfer being fallen through last summer as Man United failed to fill in Dortmund’s £120m valuations.

In any case, a year on, there will be a promising end to this love affair between Jadon Sancho and Manchester United – yet it hasn’t been met by wild bliss by Neville.

The transfer is already taking too long to be completed and in case the deal falls through, United fans will certainly protest against the owners. Still, other targets are yet to be completed and United has a center-back and a defensive midfielder on their wishlist.

Woodward has been a master in delaying transfers. But don’t worry about that as he is set to leave his post at the end of this year. We hope that the next executive officer will be quick in completing the transfer work at Manchester United.
