Fabrizio Romano has put all the transfer rumours to bed by revealing that Manchester United is not interested in signing AS Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni. Many of them didn’t even know about this player and while we were busy searching about him, the rumors have dried up.

The deep-lying midfielder was connected to Manchester United and many others confirmed that United is keeping an eye on him. Aurelien Tchouameni has made 49 appearances for AS Monaco and has scored five goals.
Another player who was also linked with a move to Man United was Metz’s, Pape Sarr. Both the midfielders have been showing some intent but it was highly unlikely that United would make a move for both the youngsters.
Manchester United are currently not working to sign Aurélien Tchouaméni from AS Monaco this summer. No talks or direct contacts as of now, same for Corentin Tolisso. 🔴 #MUFC

Manchester United does not have a proper defensive midfielder to play regularly. They have been playing with Fred and McTominay in the majority of the matches last season and it has to be upgraded.
Nemanja Matic is another player who can play at that position but his age seems to be the major block for Manchester United.

Many other players like Eduardo Camavinga, Declan Rice, and Saul were linked with a move to Manchester United.
It seems to be another rumour which has been thrown in just to make some headlines. We all have been waiting for Manchester United to sign another player before the transfer window closes on the 31st of August.
