Manchester United are backed to prioritise a contract extension for Bruno Fernandes who wants to stay put at Old Trafford and could be in line for penning a new deal by the end of this year.
Fernandes has been a major influence in the final third of the pitch for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Co. since he made the move to Manchester from Sporting Lisbon two years ago in a big-money deal.

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Red Devils camp are hard at work to ensure tabling an extension in front of Fernandes to put pen to paper on with discussions currently in full swing between the two parties.
The player himself is understood to have made it clear that he wants to extend his stay with the Premier League bigwigs with Fernandes now one of the top attacking talents in England’s top-flight division.
Manchester United are also in line to offer a new long-term deal to another of their crucial first-team regulars in Paul Pogba, according to the rumour mill, with the Frenchman eyed up by his long-term suitors Real Madrid.
