Manchester United vs West Ham United – Manchester United’s Predicted Lineup | EFL Cup 21-22

Manchester United are up against West Ham United once again but this time the two sides face off in the EFL Cup third-round fixture on Wednesday at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side made the visit to West Ham over the weekend and claimed the three points in a dramatic manner thanks to a late winner from Jesse Lingard and a penalty save from David de Gea.

Let us now have a look at how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might set up his Red Devils XI against West Ham –

Sunday’s hero for United David de Gea will be set for some well-earned rest which could mean a return to the starting teamsheet for Dean Henderson in goal.

There could be changes at the back for the hosts this time around with Harry Maguire likely to make way for Victor Lindelof and Diogo Dalot coming in for Aaron Wan-Bisaaka at right-back.

Nemanja Matic and Donny van de Beek will both be hoping to make it to the starting XI for United but the latter is backed to replace Fred in the centre of the park.

Jadon Sancho was benched for the win over West Ham on Sunday but the England international could be in line to take the place of his compatriot Mason Greenwood come Wednesday.
