Newcastle United have stepped up the interest in signing Manchester United’s Anthony Martial following their recent takeover which has led many to back the Magpies for making big moves in the January transfer window.
Martial has been frozen out at Old Trafford as of late with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho in the summer to bolster his attacking roster.
The France international Martial has found it difficult to cement his berth on the teamsheet with injury problems also curtailing his time out there on the pitch amid rumours of United looking to offload him sooner rather than later.
Reports from Stretty News ( via TeamTalk) suggest that Newcastle United are the latest entrant in the mix for Martial’s signature and have even touched base with Manchester United and the player’s representative over a potential switch in January.
The St James’ Park outfit, with newfound riches, are backed to bring in big-name signings in the forthcoming transfer windows and Martial could be leading the line of new recruits should the player be willing to leave Old Trafford.
