Marcus Rashford has endless respect for Ralf Rangnick

Marcus Rashford has expressed his admiration for Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick and his coaching staff, saying that he has “endless respect” for them.

Reports revealed that some issues are going on in the Manchester United dressing room and players trying to adjust to Rangnick’s techniques during a week of discontent in the United camp.

But Rashford, who has only scored three goals this season, has responded to the news of distress after United’s 1-0 loss to Wolves on Monday, which was the German’s first loss since taking over the club.

Marcus Rashford wrote on his official Twitter account:

“We’ve all been disappointed with recent performances and we’ve been disappointed with the news coverage questioning our commitment to not only the manager and the coaching staff but the club.”

“I have endless respect for both and I’m looking forward to bettering my game under the staff at Manchester United. I’m not sulking, I’m not unhappy. Am I disappointed in some of my recent performances? Of course, I am – I’m my own biggest critic.”

“It’s been a tough start but I’m determined to prove my worth. My dedication and my desire to be here should never be in question. I love this club.”

Some Manchester United players are finding it difficult to adjust to interim manager Ralf Rangnick’s techniques and are questioning if he is the ideal guy for the job at Old Trafford.

Rangnick’s preparations were thwarted in December when the club was forced to close its Carrington training facility due to a Covid outbreak, and this has had an impact on their performances.
