Spanish club Sevilla FC is in close contact with Manchester United as they look to seal a move for Anthony Martial this month.
The French forward has been linked with a move away as he has expressed his desire to leave. He has held talks with the manager and will favor a move away whether it’s a loan move or a permanent one.
This season the French striker has hardly earned minutes at Old Trafford. He has played just 11 games this season and has only 367 minutes of football under his belt. He has been dealing with fitness issues (knee injuries) over the past few months.

Sevilla and Juventus are two teams that are having intense talks with Manchester United over a loan deal for Anthony Martial. But the main issue due to which the transfer has been progressing slowly is the striker’s high wage demands.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla is discussing the salary coverage and is trying to bring down the wage demands which United is reluctant to budge on.

Anthony Martial is currently earning £180,000 a week at Manchester United. Ralf Rangnick wants the interested club to cover this entire wage package if they want him on loan till the end of the season.
However, Sevilla is not able to cover the entire value and is trying to negotiate to bring that value down. All these complications have been raised due to United’s habit of handing big salaries to its players.
Even if a move doesn’t materialize this month, the striker will most likely leave the club by the end of the season.
