Dean Henderson is expected to take over the goalkeeping gloves from David de Gea with the latter set for an extended period of rest.

In the defensive lineup for the home side, Victor Lindelof is tipped to partner the skipper Harry Maguire with Rangnick unlikely to hand the starting role to Raphael Varane.

With Aaron Wan-Bisaaka and Alex Telles the go-to options in the full-back slots, Scott McTominay and Fred should retain their midfield berths on the team sheet.

In the final third of the pitch, Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Elanga will operate in advanced midfield roles while Cristiano Ronaldo will have Jadon Sancho as his strike partner.
