As reported by the club’s official website, Manchester United star striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal against Tottenham Hotspur has been named the goal of the month for March. His long-range rocket against Spurs was worthy of watching again and again.
He hit a hat-trick in that match and made sure that United win a 3-2 scoreline. He had an action-packed game and the manager Ralf Rangnick had only praises for him in the post-conference conference.
Cristiano Ronaldo was up against the likes of Chelsea’s Kia Havertz, Wolves’ Ruben Neves, Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli, and four others for the official goal of the month award. So the fans had no doubt in choosing their winner.
The goal was special for the Portuguese as he levelled up with Josep Bican as the all-time goalscorer in the history of the sport and of course, he broke the record later with two more goals to his name making it 807 goals.

It was a beautiful goal to watch as Raphael Varane drove the ball forward, and Fred teed up Ronaldo with a delightful flick-on before the striker smashed a shot into the top corner beyond Hugo Lloris’s despairing dive.
