The club responded: “Family is more important than everything and Ronaldo is supporting his loved ones at this immensely difficult time. As such, we can confirm that he will not feature in the match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening and we underline the family’s request for privacy.”
Manchester United will be up against Jurgen Klopp’s high-flying Liverpool. They will be aiming to dent their rival’s chances of winning the title.
Ralf Rangnick’s men will also need to play at their very best in order to grab all three points. With Tottenham and Arsenal giving United a difficult run, a win over here is crucial.
The Red Devils next face Arsenal and Chelsea in the upcoming league fixtures. Tottenham has comparatively much easier fixtures and Rangnick would want his players to show their best form as the season ends.
Also, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Erik Ten Hag is very close to signing for Manchester United. The club is currently going through mixed emotions.
