Manchester United starlet Jadon Sancho has stated that he is excited to work with new boss Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Following months of speculation about who would succeed Ralf Rangnick this summer, Erik Ten Hag was formally hired as United’s next permanent manager in April. The team chose the Dutchman as their favorite candidate, and they were able to make a deal with him to lure him away from Ajax.
Ten Hag, who is known for his steady success at Ajax, will be aiming for similar results at Old Trafford once he gets his work underway.
However, this is likely to be the most important task of his career thus far, with major changes required across the board this summer, following a disastrous 2021/22 season for the team.

United has fallen short of expectations and will be striving to qualify for the Europa League next season when they travel to Crystal Palace on the final day of the season next Sunday. However, Erik Ten Hag’s expected arrival has dispelled some of the black clouds that had been floating over Old Trafford, since his presence is expected to usher in a new era.
Sancho, who arrived from Borussia Dortmund almost a year ago, is looking forward to working with Ten Hag and seeing what he has to offer. Following a challenging first year back in England, he has expressed optimism that his own career at Old Trafford will “take off soon.”
As reported by the club’s official website, he said: “To start again fresh, with a new manager coming in, we’re looking forward to seeing what his ideas and plans for the team are. You only have to think positively. My career is only getting started and, hopefully, it will take off soon.”
“This has been a difficult season, especially being a Manchester United player, with what the club has achieved over the years. United is known for winning trophies and being up there with the best. This season has been a difficult one for all of us, but I think we still have to show belief again.”

Jadon Sancho joined the 20-time league winners last summer after being signed by ex-boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but has had a disappointing start to the season.
After appearing in 38 games in all competitions, the England international has only contributed to eight goals.
Next season will be crucial for the 22-year-old’s future as he is far from the form that earned him a £76.5 million move from Dortmund to England’s top division.
