Manchester United forward and Chilean international Alexis Sanchez has picked up a hamstring injury while training at Carrington. A season that has been plagued with injuries for Red Devils now includes Sanchez.
The Chilean was sidelined in the game against Young Boys but is set to kiss upcoming fixtures sustaining an injury. He will miss the trip to Southampton this Saturday and is likelier to miss the game against his former club Arsenal, next week.
Alexis confirmed his injury when he took on Instagram to add a story of his, sitting with an injury contraption. This was further confirmed by the club. A club statement read: “Alexis sustained a hamstring injury in training on Thursday which requires further investigation to confirm severity.”

The Forward has been advised a rest for two weeks or more which makes it certain that he will be missing the game against Arsenal, his former club where he loved scoring.
