Manchester United hold talks with Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic’s camp

Manchester United have reportedly held talks with Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic’s camp over a move to Old Trafford in this summer’s transfer window.

The Red Devils are in the market for reinforcements to bolster their attacking lineup with talisman Cristiano Ronaldo demanding an exit with no Champions League football to look forward to this coming season.

According to a claim from Sky Germany,  Manchester United have zeroed in on the 25-year-old Kalajdzic as a top transfer target following his stellar run of displays in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart earning the forward rave reviews.

The Austria international, who netted 22 goals in 48 top flight outings for his side, was linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the recent past but it is understood that the Bavarian giants are unlikely to step up their interest despite the uncertainty looming over Robert Lewandowski’s future.

West Ham United, Brighton and Southampton are rumoured to be the other suitors in the fray for Kalajdzic’s services, however, should Manchester United make a formal approach for the player, Eric ten Hag is all but certain to walk away with the signing.
