Manchester United hold initial round of talks with Salzburg over signing Benjamin Sesko

Manchester United have reportedly held an initial round of talks with Red Bull Salzburg over signing the 19-year-old attacking talent Benjamin Sesko in this summer’s transfer window.

The United camp finds itself in need of a fresh face to bolster their attacking lineup after talisman Cristiano Ronaldo demanded a move away with no Champions League football to look forward to this coming season.

Despite the United head coach Eric ten Hag’s reluctance on parting ways with the Old Trafford rebel Ronaldo, there is pressure on the new boss to bring in a viable signing with some of the biggest names across Europe linked with a transfer to the Premier League giants/

According to a report from Sky Sports, United’s talks with Salzburg over signing the highly-rated Sesko has made them aware of the gap in valuation for the teenage forward with Salzburg holding out for a sizable asking price to sanction the sale.

Sesko has four more years left on his current terms with the Austrian top flight outfit which is not keen on the idea of allowing Seso to leave following his breakthrough campaign last term.
