Inter Milan keeping a close eye on United midfielder Donny van de Beek

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is reportedly Inter Milan’s top target for the upcoming winter transfer window.

After spending the summer on loan at Everton, the 25-year-old midfielder returned to the Red Devils, where he once again played for Erik ten Hag, the man who coached the Netherlands international at Ajax.

Despite this, Van de Beek has only played 19 minutes of football this season due to a plethora of players ahead of him competing for the midfield positions.

The Dutchman, who still has three years left on his contract, has had a poor time at Old Trafford, managing only two goals and two assists in 53 appearances across all competitions.

According to Fichajes, Inter has chosen Van de Beek as their ideal January signing, and the Italian powerhouses are getting ready to submit an offer at the beginning of 2023.

According to the report, Inter manager Simone Inzaghi personally requested the deal since the team saw him as a less expensive option to Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The 25-year-old recently discussed the competition for positions at Man United, expressing his admiration for his team’s summer signings. The midfielder has recently been sidelined with a knock, despite the fact that he added that he was feeling confident about the remainder of the season.

The midfielder’s last appearance in the squad was against Leicester City on September 1, although he hasn’t been present for any of the team’s following three games against Arsenal, Real Sociedad, or Sheriff Tiraspol.
