Manchester United linked with a move for PSG target Milan Skriniar

As stated by Fichajes, Manchester United has been linked with a move for Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar this January.

Skriniar’s contract is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2023. He could leave for free the next year if Inter Milan doesn’t lock him down to a new contract.

Manchester United is one team apparently keeping an eye on the Slovakian defender, and they might try to sign him in the January transfer window.

If Skriniar still hasn’t committed to a new deal, United might sign him for next to nothing in January. In order to prevent the key player from departing on a free transfer, the Italian Champions might feel pressured to offload him.

On paper, the Red Devils don’t seem to be in immediate need of a new central defender. New signings, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have developed strong chemistry under Erik ten Hag.

Due to Harry Maguire’s poor form, United may be considering selling the England international while also bringing in Skriniar to challenge their present defenders for a low cost.

Despite the rumours regarding his future, the 27-year-old has remained an important player for the Italian side, making 11 appearances this season.

The Slovakian, who has made 226 appearances for Inter since joining Sampdoria in 2017, is reportedly being targeted by other elite clubs like Real Madrid, PSG, Real Madrid, and Chelsea.
