Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag gave his opinion on the club being put up for sale and stated that he is aware of the news despite not having spoken to the Glazer family.
The management believes that the Glazers’ decision to sell the club will be beneficial because it will provide them with more money to spend on better players.
The Glazers bought the club in 2005, and it was disclosed last month that they are considering selling it.
The Dutch manager was upbeat about future investment in the team. Ten Hag also used the examples of a number of elite Premier League clubs who have been backed by their owners.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, the gaffer said:
“My information is that it will only be good things because there will be more investment possible, which is good.
“We spoke about the culture we want, we spoke about objectives, goals and the culture and he (Arnold) confirmed it won’t change, it will be even better because more money will become available for this project.”
Although the Glazers have made no investments in United since their hostile takeover in May 2005, the team has spent more than £1 billion and only won two trophies since 2013.
After recent fan protests and poor performances on and off the field, the owners are ready to cash in for the betterment of the club.

The Glazers are thought to demand more than £5 billion for the club, but a bidding battle between private investors and digital giants like Apple, Amazon, and Google may push the price well above that mark.
The Red Devils would be busy in the January transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad depth. United are expected to sign a striker as they look for a successor for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the club after an ugly interview with Piers Morgan.
