According to The Sun, Bayern Munich is still interested in signing Manchester United target Harry Kane, as their internal research indicates that no attacker would be a better fit for their team.
After constantly scoring goals for Tottenham over the years, England forward has been linked with moves to the best clubs in the world for a long time.
Kane broke Jimmy Greaves’ long-standing goal record for Spurs when he scored his 267th goal in the 1-0 victory over Manchester City earlier this month.
The England captain’s contract expires in the summer of 2024, and there are growing rumours that he may be nearing the end of his time in North London.

The striker is reportedly admired by Bayern Munich, and they are still interested in signing him. Kane is reportedly a target for United as well, who are searching for elite options up front.
Last month, Kane finally spoke up about his contract talks, stating that he expects contract extension discussions to start at the end of the current campaign.
The striker added that he is still dedicated to helping Tottenham win titles this season. They can still win the Champions League and the FA Cup. However, Nottingham Forest eliminated them from the Carabao Cup in the third round.
In the past, Levy has tried to deter Premier League clubs by setting Kane’s price tag at £150 million. Due to this, Manchester City was unable to sign him, and they could use a similar tactic against United.
Bayern, who aren’t a direct opponent of Spurs, won’t have as much trouble negotiating with Levy. They will still need to pay a lot of money to get Kane, but it won’t be close to £150 million.

Of course, there’s also a chance that the Spurs talisman will stay put. Tottenham manager Antonio Conte’s contract talks may have an impact on his future. The Italian manager’s current contract is set to end this summer.
