According to the Daily Express, Manchester United will consider a third round of offers from potential buyers towards the end of the month.
Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have already declared that their offers are on the table since the Glazers first opened the door to takeover bids earlier this year.
A third round of bids, which is now apparently due on April 30, is said to be open to a number of different private organisations. Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim will participate in the procedure once they have made it past the second round.
It has been widely rumoured that the Glazer family wants £6 billion to sell the club. Nobody has offered to match their valuation, not even a group or investor.

Thus, the third round of the bidding procedure has begun. It will be interesting to see if any prospective purchasers are willing to offer a lower price.
If a solution is not reached by the end of the month, the Glazers may be inclined to accept a minority interest in order to expand the club’s facilities.
Elliott Investment Management, one of those who once owned AC Milan, has sought to become a minority owner in order to bring in additional funding.
We hope that this won’t be the case and that the Glazers will leave United before the season. The club needs another big summer spending spree in order to compete for the league title next season.
