Sheikh Jassim criticizes the Glazers for their underinvestment in the club

According to the Athletic, Sheikh Jassim, one of the bidders for Manchester United, has criticized the Glazer family for their management of the club.

The Glazers, who currently own United, are considering offers from Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the founder of Ineos. The American family had previously expressed their intention to sell by initiating a strategic review in November, but the bidding process has been prolonged.

Recent reports suggest that Sheikh Jassim’s bid, which includes a full acquisition of the club, is currently the most likely to be accepted. The Qataris have expressed their eagerness to finalize the deal, particularly with the summer transfer window now open.

Over the years, the Glazer family’s ownership of Man United has faced criticism from the club’s supporters, as significant debts have been accumulated under their stewardship.
