Manchester United are reportedly engaged in discussions with Bayern Munich regarding a possible loan swap deal involving Ryan Gravenberch.
Sport Bild has reported that as part of this arrangement to secure the Netherlands international, Scott McTominay could make a move to the Allianz Arena.
The Red Devils are aiming to reinforce their midfield options and view Gravenberch as an attractive signing. Manager Erik ten Hag is familiar with the player from their time together at Ajax.
Gravenberch joined Bayern last summer, but his tenure there did not go as planned. He struggled for playing time, making just three starts in the Bundesliga.

It’s reported that the Dutch star is open to a move to England, but Bayern are hesitant to sell him given the limited time remaining to secure a replacement.
There is a possibility that Bayern might consider a loan deal for the 21-year-old. The German giants, under Thomas Tuchel’s management, are also interested in McTominay, which could lead to a loan swap deal involving the Scottish star and Gravenberch, benefiting all parties.
McTominay faced challenges in securing regular playing time at Old Trafford last season, with only 10 Premier League starts.
With the addition of Mason Mount from Chelsea, his opportunities in the first team have further diminished.
In the first three Premier League matches of the current season, the 26-year-old did not feature in the starting lineup and only made two late substitute appearances.
