Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has given an update on his recovery progress following an ankle injury he suffered in July during a pre-season match against Arsenal in the United States.
After leaving the stadium on crutches, the Ivorian star has been diligently working on his rehabilitation and is now approaching full fitness.
The 21-year-old, who had a successful loan period at Sunderland in the Championship last season, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists in 43 matches across various competitions, was eager to impress manager Erik ten Hag before his injury.
He is keen to make a comeback soon. United have been dealing with a series of injuries this season, so having Diallo return will be a significant lift. He shared a positive update on Instagram today, which is likely to excite fans.

The former Atalanta ace made his first-team debut in December and later went on loan to Rangers for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
He had hoped for regular playing time this season, especially with Jadon Sancho facing disciplinary issues, which could have opened up opportunities for him.
Additionally, Antony had taken a temporary leave of absence due to allegations of physical assault, but he has recently returned to action.
It’s uncertain whether Diallo will be ready for selection this month, but there’s optimism that he will be in peak condition for the latter part of the season, possibly returning in December.
