As revealed by the club’s official website, Manchester United have been handed a major injury boost as Antony has returned to training ahead of the club’s semi-final FA Cup clash against Coventry City.
The Red Devils are winless in their past four Premier League games. They were unable to overcome Bournemouth as they were held 2-2. Bruno Fernandes’ brace was the only positive from the game.
Winger Antony missed the match but has returned to team training giving the English giants options in attack.
The Brazilian has had a difficult second season at Old Trafford with just one assist in 25 league games. He has yet to find the net in the Premier League. However, he scored a goal against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final tie.

The 24-year-old was fantastic in the 4-3 defeat against Chelsea. He provided a perfect Trivela assist for Alejandro Garnacho. He also completed six dribbles against the Blues.
But Erik ten Hag has hesitated to use him against Liverpool in this month’s PL match. He was also absent for the clash against the Bees.
Antony needs to start against Coventry City on Sunday:
The South American deserves to play in their next tie since he has been lethal in the FA Cup this season. The manager can use his current form well even if he has other options in the squad.
Garnacho and Marcus Rashford will provide tough competition for a spot in the starting XI. Coventry City are not easy opponents and they recently knocked out Wolverhampton Wanderers in their 3-2 quarter-finals victory at the Molineux Stadium.

Antony’s return is a huge boost since the Red Devils are struggling with injury issues this campaign. The club has several defenders on the sidelines and it would be a big mess if their attackers were injured.
It remains to be seen whether Ten Hag will give him a chance to prove his worth. The player has received a lot of criticism and another brilliant performance will boost his morale.
