According to CaughtOffside (via the Manchester Evening News), Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr have held talks with Casemiro’s representatives amid reports that he might leave Manchester United this summer.
The 32-year-old has had an underwhelming season by his standards for the Red Devils this campaign. He was a star performer for Erik ten Hag’s side last season but he has failed to hit the mark this term.
The manager eyes him as a vital player but the gaffer’s future at Old Trafford is also uncertain. Al Nassr, the club that signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Man Utd, have now held talks with Casemiro’s agents regarding the possibility of a move this summer.
They are ready to pay £35 million for his services and that could be helpful for the Red Devils in terms of financial profit. United paid £65m to sign the Brazilian midfielder from Real Madrid in 2022.

He has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 80 appearances for the English giants. But he has also faced severe criticism from fans due to his unconvincing displays in recent matches.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher even insisted that Casemiro should move to either MLS or a Saudi Pro League club to end his career on a high.
The former Real Madrid star’s future is uncertain and he is yet to speak on his current status at Old Trafford. Moving to Al Nassr and playing alongside his former teammate Ronaldo might be an attractive opportunity for him.
The Middle Eastern side has built a strong team with players like Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, and Aymeric Laporte. Ronaldo and Casemiro have played 122 games together at Santiago Bernabeu.

Man United could be happy to receive £35m for their senior player and use these funds to sign a top midfield replacement this summer. The Brazilian ace has two years remaining on his current contract but it remains to be seen whether he decides to pursue a move.
