According to the reports, Manchester United has set its eyes on Francesco Camarda, a 16-year-old sensation from AC Milan. However, the deal is rather unlikely to go through.
Francesco Camarda has made his debut for AC Milan earlier this season. The 16-year-old striker is the sensation of AC Milan, whose talent and potential are being talked about everywhere. He is one of the most promising young graduates from their academy.
Reportedly, both Manchester United and Manchester City have been keen on the young sensation and have also offered contracts to him. However, due to some restriction neither of the clubs would be in a position to sign him this summer.
The Brexit rules have placed a restriction on the Premier League clubs from recruiting foreign players who are under the age of 18. However, the rule has posed a significant challenge for Manchester United as the latter is looking forward to signing Camarda.
Despite all these, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan is on the verge of a preliminary agreement with Camarda. If everything goes by plan, soon the young striker will be putting his signature on a three-year professional contract for the Rossoneri.

AC Milan, also known as the Rossoneri, has plans for Camarda that extend beyond the signing of the contract. They want the young striker to continue training with the first team while also playing for their upcoming Under 23 team, which will be participating in Serie C in the next term.
Manchester United have always brought young talents from foreign leagues and groomed them into players of their first team. A fitting example for this should be Alejandro Garnacho, whom the club signed at 16 and he has now become one of the key players in the starting lineup. However, the changed rules after Brexit have put a spanner in the works as far as continuing this policy is concerned.
While teams like Chelsea and Manchester City have gotten around this by signing South American talents on pre-contracts, Manchester United may need to do something similar as well. However, when it comes to European football, it’s unlikely that a club like Milan would agree to a similar proposal for transferring Camarda.

Camarda has been in sizzling form this season with the academy teams, scoring 13 goals with four assists in 42 matches across all competitions. And he’s only going to get better with age and experience.
Football statistics website Transfermarkt currently rates the young striker at €10 million. As he continues to be a regular and perform, that figure is likely to shoot up. Manchester United might have to live with the disappointment of missing out on the services of Camarda on account of the Brexit rules.
