Pogba Wants To Win Trophies With Manchester United Says Raiola

According to Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, French midfielder Paul Pogba intends to remain at Old Trafford and continue to win trophies but the club must form a clear identity in order for him to stay.

Having arrived at Old Trafford from Serie A champions Juventus back in the summer of 2016 for a club-record fee of £89.7 million, the World Cup-winning midfielder is into the final 18 months of his current contract and has been strongly linked with a move away from Manchester United with top European suitors interested in his signature ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

The 26-year-old attracted interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid earlier this year, but his agent Mino Raiola has insisted that his client will not force through an exit from the Theatre of Dreams.

While speaking to reporters amid the speculation around Pogba, Raiola explained that Pogba is keen on bringing success to the United faithful and he there was a reason that he returned back to Old Trafford as he chose the move with his heart, “I think that Paul really went home, Paul could have gone elsewhere [in 2016], but he really chose with his heart, to go home. Paul wants to be successful and happy and wants to win prizes and he would love to do that with Manchester United. Okay, there was a big interest from Real Madrid and Manchester didn’t let him go.

Pogba has flirted with the thought of joining Real Madrid as he has made public that he is eager for a new challenge as well and therefore the news that he wants to remain at Old Trafford is slightly strange coming from his agent.
