Solskjaer Isn’t Fearing For His Job

Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that he holds no fears over his job at the helm of Manchester United, but accepted results were needed for the stature and size of the English giants.

Solskjaer is currently under increasing pressure at Old Trafford, with United having won only the last two of their past seven games ahead of visiting Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup this weekend.

However, the 46-year-old Norwegian has said that he was unworried about his position as manager of the club but also stated that at 5th place on the Premier League table, results must improve for the 20 time League champions.

While speaking to reporters Solskjaer explained the reason why he does not fear for losing his job is because there is a cultural change which needs to be followed at the club, “When we sat down we all agreed, the club and I, that the culture had to change, It’s not like I’ve been told without my consent what we’re doing, because we agreed to things when we signed contracts and we agreed on a plan. I don’t fear for my position in that respect, I just keep on working. Of course, you know you need results and show you’re doing the right things but I won’t spend big money on someone to come in here now if they’re not right for the club.”

Manchester United will be hoping to sign a few players in the January transfer window to bolster their squad as well as push for a place higher on the Premier League table.
